BENEFITS & PERSONNEL PRACTICES SURVEY NOW OPEN!
The Nevada Association of Employers is currently collecting data for its 2017-2018 Benefits & Personnel Practices Survey.
New this year, NAE will be collecting all benefits and personnel practices data electronically — no more completing an endless spreadsheet of data. Simply click the link below to be directed to the online survey. It’s as simple as that. Instructions for completing the survey are on the landing page of the survey.
All Nevada businesses are encouraged to participate. Businesses do not need to be a member of NAE to participate in the survey – but we encourage all Nevada businesses to join NAE. Whether you are in the Reno/Sparks area, Las Vegas, Carson City, Elko, or rural Nevada, your benefits and personnel practice data is important. It helps us determine what businesses throughout the state are offering their employees, which in turn helps business understand how to remain competitive in Nevada’s rapidly expanding labor market.
The Benefits & Personnel Practices Survey collects information regarding the benefits and personnel practices of employers throughout the state of Nevada. NAE believes it provides the most comprehensive, reliable, and current information available. The survey covers 26 benefits and personnel practice categories, including work schedules, drug & alcohol testing, holidays, paid time off (PTO), health & welfare insurance, flexible benefits, severance, and more. Not all categories will apply to every business, but all businesses are encouraged to provide information for all categories that do apply.
NAE treats all information received as strictly confidential. All data received will be compiled and reported in a composite manner whereby the information reported cannot be connected to any specific business or employer.
All survey data must be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
Survey results will be available in December 2017. Members who participate in the Benefits & Personnel Practices Survey receive a copy of the results for FREE. All others may purchase a copy of the results based on the fee schedule below.

Workplace compliance and HR administration
Nevada Association of Employers (NAE) has compiled a collection of commonly used HR forms, checklists, policies, and employer guides to help Nevada businesses manage workplace compliance and HR administration.
Whether you are looking for an employment application, employee file checklist, payroll deduction form, performance appraisal form, or FLSA exemption worksheet, NAE provides resources designed to support employers with day-to-day HR operations.
These tools help employers maintain consistent documentation practices and ensure workplace policies align with federal and Nevada employment regulations.
Employers who need additional guidance on HR compliance may also benefit from services such as HR Hotline support or professional HR audits, which help identify potential compliance gaps before they become legal issues.
Access HR Forms Through the Member Portal
NAE members can access these HR resources through the Member Portal (login required). The portal includes downloadable HR forms, customizable policies, and other templates that help employers manage employee documentation and HR procedures efficiently.
These resources are designed to work alongside other NAE compliance tools, including the HR Compliance Checklist and Employee Handbook Review services that help employers maintain legally compliant workplace policies.
