NAE: YOUR GO-TO RESOURCE FOR HR GUIDANCE
Your Trusted Source for HR Guidance for More Than 85 Years
How long have you spent in your HR career searching for answers? When you finally found them, how sure were you that they were the right answers? If you are anything like I was, working alone in an HR department with several hundred employees, you would say, “I spent far too much time searching, and I had no confidence in the answers.“
I remember my insurance broker was really proud when he gave me access to HR360 (I think it has a new name now). He said, “This has everything you will need to manage your HR functions.” I was eager to log in. But when I saw all the lists and pages of information, I quickly understood that unless I already knew what I wanted, this wouldn’t help me at all. If I did know what I needed, I wouldn’t even need the program. Do you see the problem? It’s a vicious cycle.
I found that payroll software with HR add-ons didn’t offer much help. SHRM was similar. The free information didn’t help me either. When I paid a fee, I was told to speak to an attorney — they don’t give advice. In the end, I was out $250.
Sigh.
HR Support in Real Time by Real People
When I met the CEO of the Nevada Association of Employers (NAE), he explained what NAE does, and I was shocked. I think I even said, “Where have you been all my life?” The truth is, NAE has been around since 1938, offering real advice on human resources and employment law. They help employers, HR professionals, and anyone who takes care of HR in a company.
Being a member of NAE brings a joy that you can only feel by being part of it, similar to having kids. You can get answers to your questions quickly – just by making a phone call, sending an email, or chatting. Businesses that join NAE after using other HR platforms often say this is their favorite part – they get their questions answered right away. We don’t just send you to our website to search for answers. We won’t tell you to reach out to your attorney. If you need legal help, we will connect you with one of the attorneys on our team. You will get help instantly!
HR Guidance You Can Trust
In our most recent Member Satisfaction Survey, members shared their views about our human resource services. They rated their ability to connect with staff, how quickly we responded, and our professionalism and knowledge as excellent. These were only second to the desirability of our All in Two Labor Law posters, which come with membership.
Additionally, many of our members have been with us for over 10 years. Once you join, you will likely want to stay.
The NAE Difference
This is how NAE is different from other HR support platforms. With your membership, you get help as long as you are a member. You can ask unlimited questions any time you want. You will get answers in real-time from actual people. We provide real support – we are here to talk through your problem, offer advice, understand your feelings, guide you through best practices, and help you find a solution. You won’t have to wait in line or for someone to get free for you. You call, and we answer. It’s that easy.

Workplace compliance and HR administration
Nevada Association of Employers (NAE) has compiled a collection of commonly used HR forms, checklists, policies, and employer guides to help Nevada businesses manage workplace compliance and HR administration.
Whether you are looking for an employment application, employee file checklist, payroll deduction form, performance appraisal form, or FLSA exemption worksheet, NAE provides resources designed to support employers with day-to-day HR operations.
These tools help employers maintain consistent documentation practices and ensure workplace policies align with federal and Nevada employment regulations.
Employers who need additional guidance on HR compliance may also benefit from services such as HR Hotline support or professional HR audits, which help identify potential compliance gaps before they become legal issues.
Access HR Forms Through the Member Portal
NAE members can access these HR resources through the Member Portal (login required). The portal includes downloadable HR forms, customizable policies, and other templates that help employers manage employee documentation and HR procedures efficiently.
These resources are designed to work alongside other NAE compliance tools, including the HR Compliance Checklist and Employee Handbook Review services that help employers maintain legally compliant workplace policies.
