A LIFELINE WHEN NAVIGATING DIFFICULT EMPLOYEE ISSUES
Imagine navigating an employee relations situation that you haven’t dealt with before. When your leadership is counting on you to handle it and employees are seeking support, having immediate access to guidance and advice is essential. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a lifeline? A place of support, knowledge, and information, right at your fingertips?
Welcome to the NAE HR Hotline. This invaluable member benefit provides continuous and easily accessible support for all your HR and employment-related inquiries and challenges. This is one of our most popular services and members consistently express gratitude for the support it provides.

Unlike other HR support services, when you call the HR Hotline you get a live person who can assist with your questions or employee relations dilemma right away. We don’t require that your question go into a queue. You don’t search for an answer in some large database, hoping you find the right thing and wondering if you are looking for the right thing in the first place. Call us. We will get you answers and/or the resources that you need.
You may wonder what kinds of issues our HR Hotline receives. Here are some examples:
“We have someone out on FMLA, and while he was out, we noticed he had not been doing his work; he left a mess behind. Do we have to let him come back?“
“I have to fire someone tomorrow, and nobody will be around to sign the final paycheck. Can it wait?“
“Do we have to pay daily overtime and weekly overtime?“
“I am new to Nevada. Can you explain the 24-hour clock?“
“One of our customer service employees said her manager has asked her out on a date multiple times and won’t take no for an answer. We told him to stop, but he hasn’t. What do we do?“
There are no limitations on the number of times you can contact us and there are no stupid questions. And, if you prefer, you can email your questions instead.
Sometimes, a situation has already been handled, and then that second guessing creeps in. We are also able to provide you with that much needed validation that you handled the situation appropriately, or guidance on how to fix it if something went awry.
If you’d like to learn more about our HR Hotline and other member benefits, spend some time with us on Monday, April 8th, at 2:30pm, for a FREE webinar all about membership with Nevada Association of Employers.

For over 85 years
Workplace compliance and HR administration
Nevada Association of Employers (NAE) has compiled a collection of commonly used HR forms, checklists, policies, and employer guides to help Nevada businesses manage workplace compliance and HR administration.
Whether you are looking for an employment application, employee file checklist, payroll deduction form, performance appraisal form, or FLSA exemption worksheet, NAE provides resources designed to support employers with day-to-day HR operations.
These tools help employers maintain consistent documentation practices and ensure workplace policies align with federal and Nevada employment regulations.
Employers who need additional guidance on HR compliance may also benefit from services such as HR Hotline support or professional HR audits, which help identify potential compliance gaps before they become legal issues.
Access HR Forms Through the Member Portal
NAE members can access these HR resources through the Member Portal (login required). The portal includes downloadable HR forms, customizable policies, and other templates that help employers manage employee documentation and HR procedures efficiently.
These resources are designed to work alongside other NAE compliance tools, including the HR Compliance Checklist and Employee Handbook Review services that help employers maintain legally compliant workplace policies.
